2026 BOM Ramble by Tara Faughnan - Starts February 2026 (Twin Cities Quilting Colorway)

Our 2026 Block of the Month (BOM) is Ramble by Tara Faughnan, and begins in February. NOTE: This is for Twin Cities Quilting colorway.

This medallion quilt is the perfect way to explore a beautiful harmony of colors and values, with a modern twist. Each round demonstrates a wide range of techniques that will build the skills of novice quilters and be a fun play day for the experts. Finished quilt size: 85" x 88".

Techniques include:
- No-tear Foundation Paper Piecing
- Strip piecing
- Curved piecing
- Traditional piecing

Difficulty – Advanced Beginner and above

There will be video tutorials available each month available on the Thinkific learning platform. The videos will include tips, tricks, and technique demos.

Schedule
- Introductory Month - January 2026: Videos for Intro and Supplies will go live. No sewing will be done this month.
Starting in February, you will receive fabric bundles quarterly and sew the row(s) of the month. Some months will include cutting and sewing for rows that will be added to the quilt in later rounds.

Month 3 - April: Checkerboard rows
Month 4 - May: 9-Patch row
Month 5 - June: Big X rows
Month 6 - July: Half Square Triangle rows
Month 7 - August: Little Stars rows
Month 8 - September: Little X rows
Month 9 - October: Hourglass row
Month 10 - November: Polygon row
Month 11 - December: Flowers row
Month 12 - January 2027: Cones row and finishing the quilt!
