Pepin Tote - 10/22
If you haven’t made a bag or tote before, this class will take you through the basics of construction. Features include an outer pocket, recessed zipper, and leather handles, webbing or fabric.
Supplies Needed:
Pepin Tote pattern
We recommend canvas weight fabric for the outer fabrics. It is important to prewash all fabrics prior to class.
The lining can be either quilting cotton or canvas.
Let us guide you through choices for interfacings. We recommend SF101 for the entire bag and either decor bond or bosal one sided fusible foam for the exterior fabrics. Ask our sales assistant to show you the difference.
Poly or cotton covered poly thread.
Size 80 or 90 denim needle
Rotary cutter
Basic sewing supplies
Sewing Machine in good working order
Edging foot if you have one
Zipper and hardware if needed
Leather handles, webbing or fabric for handles.
