Class Description:

Yes - you can quilt a large quilt on your domestic sewing machine.  Without pain!

In this class we will explore four methods of quilting in sections to make a quilt of any size on a domestic sewing machine.

We will focus on four techniques.  You will create samples of the following:

  1. Stitch and flip quilting

  2. Partially quilting and joining quilt units

  3. Quilting units and adding batting as you go

  4. Assembling your quilted units using sashing

In addition to the four techniques, we will talk about how to make your quilt interesting on both the front and the back, and how to plan a project for quilting as you go.
